Many of us grew up in a world where the expectation was that events and spaces are for either those of us with disabilities or for those without. Here we know better- both that we all exist on a spectrum of ability and that life is richer when we do it together. But knowing is different than than doing, and so showing up in these spaces is one of the most important things we can do to challenge a world that’s set up to keep us apart.
